Ads.txt and Domain Approval

Ads.txt

The use of ads.txt, or Authorized Digital Sellers, is an initiative by the IAB Tech Lab. Its purpose is to ensure that your digital ad inventory is exclusively sold by authorized sellers whom you have approved, such as AdSense. By creating your own ads.txt file, you gain greater control over the sellers allowed to sell ads on your website and effectively prevent the presentation of counterfeit inventory to advertisers.

We highly recommend implementing an ads.txt file as it serves multiple benefits. Firstly, it helps buyers detect counterfeit inventory, safeguarding their investments. Secondly, it enhances the chances of receiving more advertiser spend that could have otherwise been allocated to counterfeit inventory.

When utilizing ads.txt, it is crucial to include your publisher ID in the file. Failure to do so will result in Google rejecting all ad requests originating from your site if an ads.txt file is present but lacks your publisher ID.

Browsi won’t be able to monetize inventory using our demand where Browsi ads.txt is not implemented. Contact your account manager for more information.

Domain Approval

Submit a comprehensive list of your website URLs to your account manager for approval. Browsi will carefully review the submitted site list and subsequently provide confirmation of approval.
