Data sources

  • Pageviews - measured by Browsi (affects RPM and ads per page calculation)

  • Impressions and viewability - measured both by Browsi and GAM, selection available on the relevant tile (affects ads per page, CPM and viewability calculation).

  • Revenue and clicks - measured by GAM (affects RPM, CTR, and CPM calculation).

Data requirements and explanations

browsiLayout key-value

The layout comparison dashboard relies on the ‘browsiLayout=n’ key-value, that allows Browsi to connect layouts to different GAM metrics. Granting Browsi permissions to create key-values in the publisher GAM is necessary for the data flow.

The data presented in the dashboard for each layout will be sent on the impressions that got the ‘browsiLayout=n’ key-value. Unless the publisher configures this key-value on their impressions, the data in the dashboard will present Browsi impressions only.
