In-view Ad Refresh

One of Browsi's key features is to track viewability for each and every ad impression on the page. This allows Browsi to track the in-view time of each impression served as well as the current in-view percentage of those impressions.

With the publishers request, Browsi can set and monitor an amount of seconds for the served ad being still in the users' viewport (50% and above) and then generate a new DFP call in order to try and "refresh" that impression. In one sentence, this means the same demand flow will occur again for the same spot on the page.

Browsi will only serve ads on the page if there's an actual impression returning from the DFP. We will not try and refresh any ads that did not get any returned impressions to begin with.

Browsi can currently refresh ads only in the form of an ad call to DFP.(other ad servers are not supported yet).

The “time to refresh”(TTR) threshold will be triggered only if the ad occupied over 50% of the user’s viewport.

The initial impression on the page will not be removed until DFP returns a response with the new refreshed impression (in order to maintain good user experience and not leave a blank space).

If there is no ad returned from the refresh request to DFP, Browsi will keep the same initial ad in its original placement.
