Introduction

Browsi’s Video Console is a one-stop-shop for all of your data and configuration needs.

As a data solution, the console offers two main tools - the Overview page, which visualizes your data in dashboard form, and the Explore page, which serves as a comprehensive report builder.

The Explore Page

The page’s main view is a table of your saved reports.

New report

Clicking the ‘new report’ button will take you to the report builder page, where you’ll be able to choose:

  1. Report name

  2. Report filters - by filtering reports to include or exclude certain data, you can avoid heavy reports. This will make them faster to generate and easier to work with. You can select as many report as you want to fine-tune your reports

  3. Date range - you can select a fixed date range (e.g. 1st-7th of May), or a relative date range (e.g. last 7 days). Keep in mind recurring report schedules are only available with relative date ranges.

  4. Dimensions - dimension help you group and break down your data, to create meaningful comparisons. You can find a full list of the Video Console’s supported dimensions, and their definitions, here.

  5. Metrics - Metrics quantify your video activity to help answer your questions, and are the backbone of data-driven decision making. You can find a full list of the BQT’s supported metrics, and their definitions, here.

Report viewer

When you run a report, you will be taken to the report viewer to see its results. The report viewer is limited to showing tables up to 150 rows - any report larger than this needs to be downloaded as a csv file. The console will let you know if this happens:

Schedule reports

Any saved report with a relative date range can be scheduled - scheduled reports are automatically sent to the email addresses of your choice every day, week or month.

You can schedule a report in one of two ways:

  1. From the Explore main page, click the relevant report’s 3-dot menu and select ‘schedule’

  2. From the report viewer, click the ‘schedule’ button at the top

Either option will open the report schedule window, where you can select the schedule’s frequency and recipients

Existing schedules

To disable any existing report schedules, from the top of the Explore main page click ‘scheduled reports’
