Background
Using an instream player to play content between ads can raise ad performance significantly.
With the right content, an instream player can also improve user experience on your domains, raise engagement, and increase session durations.
This is where our Content Management System (CMS) comes into play!
Playlists
Once you have a playlist active on the CMS, your instream players will start using the CMS exclusively as the source of their content.
Managing playlists through the Video Console will have no effect on your outstream players. Please contact your CSM if you would like to change your outstream players into instream players.
You can mix and match any content from Browsi’s library and your own uploads to create playlists, based on content category, language etc.
A few things to note:
Browsi Player chooses which playlist to play based on its targeting.
To create a targeted playlist, the default playlist first has to be active. This is to ensure the instream player always has a fallback playlist to serve.
To change a new playlist’s state from paused to active, at least one video must be added to it from one of the library screens.
